With the plethora of instruments showing up for HB, I thought I'd though one up too. Just strung this one up a couple of days ago and took photos last night. The back and sides are flamed mahogany with a euro top. I really like the sound of it. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Simply beautiful Jim. What species of top? Let's see the others. Is that Bruce Dickey's Mahogany? |

Very nice, and the workmanship looks very clean as well. Is that an engelmann top? |

Thanks for the kind words. It's flamed Honduran which I obtained from Hibdon Hardwoods. The top is a european spruce top, not sure of the exact species of this one. I can post a few more pics later of the head stock and face on. |

Beautiful. I'm glad I'm NOT going to HB where I would be ashamed to put my guitars next to that one. Simply beautiful.... |

Jim, that is really pretty. From the looks of what's been posted on this web site, Healdsburg will be both encouraging and deflating. Encouraging in the sense of going home w/ new ideas and new inspiration. Deflating in the sense of the bar having been raised SO high. Thanks for the look. Steve |

European top (P. abies) and mahogany body! Now we are talking real guitar here, put a set of bone pins in there and just tell me it's a rosewood fingerboard and it will be perfect. I bet it sounds fantastic, and with that build quality. Just send it to me. Colin |
